Intermediate Rotary Waltz
Will include a mix of historical waltz steps such as the York, as well as modern folk waltz steps like canter pivots. Previous turning waltz experience required. Please contact Chris or Dawn with questions.
4:15-5:15pm
Intermediate Cross-Step Waltz
Will include a variety of Cross-Step Waltz moves not taught recently in the Triangle. Great for improvisation during slower tempo waltzes. Previous cross-step waltz experience highly recommended.
5:15-6:00pm
Open Mostly Waltz Dance
Practice and exchange moves to a special set of music provided by Susan.
Susan de Guardiola is an independent dance historian, teacher, and caller based in Connecticut. Susan has taught historical social dance of various eras in New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Colorado, Virginia, Louisiana, Ontario, and more. She performed and served as dance consultant for A&E's "Biography" episode on Jane Austen. Don't miss this special opportunity to learn waltz steps not usually taught in this area!
